About The Position

The Assistant Manager at Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans plays a crucial role in overseeing the restaurant's operations, ensuring high levels of guest service, and managing staff effectively. Requirements

• High School or College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required.
• 3-5 years in Food and beverage industry, serving and/or related food and beverage experience in a high volume upscale environment.
• At least 2 years experience in Food and Beverage management.
• Thorough knowledge of business acumen including managing guest service, cost control in F&B, labor controls, menu writing, maintenance, merchandising and accounting.
• Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language is required.
• Food and beverage knowledge is a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist with selecting, training, evaluating, leading, motivating, and coaching all employees.
• Be visible during operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
• Assist in controlling labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control.
• Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
