Assistant Resident Care Director
About The Position
Ato Tavares is seeking a dedicated Assistant Resident Care Director (ARCD) — commonly known in many communities as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) — to help guide our care team and elevate the resident experience in our vibrant senior living community. This role blends hands-on resident care, team leadership, clinical oversight, and meaningful relationship-building. If you love making a difference and leading with heart, this is your moment. In this leadership role, you will: Support the Resident Services Director (RSD) in daily clinical and department operations Promote and uphold safety, infection control, and life safety standards Collaborate with Care Staff to create, review, and update Resident Service Plans Assist Sales & Marketing with assessments for prospects and new residents Maintain strong communication with the RSD to ensure continuity of care Help supervise and guide Care Staff in day-to-day clinical support Assist directly with resident care as needed Ensure department compliance with budget procedures and purchasing guidelines Drive high resident satisfaction through warmth, professionalism, and exceptional service As an ARCD/ADON, you become a cornerstone of our care team — a resource, a mentor, and a calm, confident presence for residents and associates.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing
- CPR/AED certification
- At least one year of LPN experience in a senior care setting
- Leadership qualities that inspire trust and teamwork
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through

Responsibilities
- Support the Resident Services Director (RSD) in daily clinical and department operations
