About The Position
The Assistant Residence Director (ARD) at Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the programming model and creating an inclusive first-year community. This position involves the development, co-instruction, and supervision of Resident Assistants in the residence hall environment. The ARD will provide leadership and support to the residence hall community, supervise and evaluate paraprofessional RA staff, and assist in creating an environment that promotes individual growth and a sense of community. The role requires participation in after-hours duty rotation and support for departmental initiatives and programmatic efforts.
