About The Position

The Assistant Registrar plays a crucial role in the Office of the University Registrar, specializing in transfer credit evaluation, admissions credentials, and graduation processing. Reporting to the Associate Registrar, this position involves overseeing day-to-day operations, resolving complex issues, and leveraging expertise in student information systems (SIS) to enhance processes and services. The Assistant Registrar is expected to be a proactive member of the managerial team, ensuring compliance with academic policies and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in overseeing data processing operations and supervising staff.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years in a college or university level Registrar's office.
  • 2+ years of experience with transfer credit evaluation and transfer admissions.
  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and Slate.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day functions of the Office of the University Registrar.
  • Resolve complex escalated issues related to academic credentials and graduation processing.
  • Analyze and configure high-priority SIS processes impacting student records.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement streamlined processes and improved services.
  • Manage transfer credit evaluation and degree audit processing.
