The Assistant Registrar is responsible for handling registration, maintaining the integrity of students' personal information and academic records, and assisting with financial aid. This role includes participating in the implementation of student management programs, including testing programs with different student populations. The incumbent will also be involved in commencement activities, providing resources on graduation and degree requirements. The Assistant Registrar will interview parents, faculty, and students with special requests related to admission and registration, and may hold counseling sessions with students during registration or throughout the academic year. Daily responsibilities include issuing transcripts, grades, verifying enrollment, loan deferments, insurance forms, and conducting background checks. Additionally, research duties may involve data entry and archiving files or transcripts.
