About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in higher education administration.
  • Experience with Starfish and Banner computer systems preferred.
  • Strong computer knowledge and understanding required.
  • Ability to relate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and administration.
  • Strong detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to identify problems and implement solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the College certifying official to the Veterans Administration, assisting veterans with educational concerns and maintaining their eligibility files.
  • Maintain statistical records relevant to enrollment and curriculum, providing support for federal and state mandated reports.
  • Deliver prompt and accurate customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external agencies.
  • Collaborate with Academic Affairs and other offices to improve alignment of academic catalog, degree planning, and degree audit systems.
  • Manage updates and operational management of data systems for academic catalog and degree planning.
  • Implement and update the Starfish Degree Planner, including curriculum changes and troubleshooting issues.
  • Work with faculty and administration to ensure student records reflect satisfaction of degree requirements.
  • Train faculty on processes for substituting or waiving requirements for students.
  • Support the Registrar with maintenance of the Banner Student module.
  • Facilitate the creation of summer academic and course schedules in cooperation with Academic Affairs.
