About The Position

The Registrar's Office at Franklin Pierce University is seeking an experienced higher education professional to serve as Assistant Registrar of Degree Auditing and School Certifying Officer (SCO). This is a dual-focus role reporting directly to the Registrar. On the degree audit side, you'll manage the full graduation lifecycle — reviewing student progress, processing applications to graduate, coordinating with Deans and Academic Advisors on degree completion, and overseeing diploma printing and distribution. You'll also serve as the University's School Certifying Official, certifying enrollment of veterans and eligible students to the VA, maintaining compliance with federal and state approval requirements, and acting as the primary point of contact during State Approving Agency visits. Beyond these two core areas, you'll help train faculty and staff, interpret and communicate academic policy, and contribute to the broader operations of the Registrar's Office. It's a position that rewards precision, policy knowledge, and a genuine commitment to student success — and one where your work has a clear, tangible impact on students at every stage of their academic journey, from enrollment through graduation.
