About the Role Bowie Barker is seeking a hands-on, execution-focused Assistant Regional Manager to support operations across two locations. This role is responsible for executing day-to-day operations through teams, ensuring consistency, accountability, and results across front-of-house, grooming, and bathing functions. Working in close partnership with the Regional Operations Manager, this role executes regional strategy at the store level. The Assistant Regional Manager owns operational follow-through, team performance, schedule execution, labor control, safety compliance, and client experience. Success in this role is measured by the ability to drive results through people, maintain operational discipline, and ensure teams consistently meet performance expectations.

Requirements

  • Experience managing payroll and labor efficiency
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing and tracking KPIs
  • Strong ability to drive operational efficiency, optimize labor, and implement process improvements
  • Experience implementing safety standards and risk management procedures
  • Strong sales leadership skills—experience driving memberships, add-ons, and revenue growth

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop Assistant Store Managers, BOH Leads, Groomers, and Bathers
  • Hire, onboard, and train team members to Bowie Barker standards
  • Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and corrective coaching
  • Foster a high-accountability, high-morale environment and recognize team wins
  • Execute front-of-house and back-of-house operations across both locations
  • Implement regional initiatives, process updates, and promotions with consistency
  • Ensure operational standards, SOPs, and workflows are followed daily
  • Own back-of-house scheduling and oversee front-of-house scheduling through ASMs
  • Build schedules that support revenue targets, service capacity, and labor efficiency
  • Continuously monitor schedules to anticipate and mitigate bottlenecks, and ensure compliance with meal breaks, minimize overtime, and prevent meal penalties
  • Manage payroll, timesheets, and tip corrections
  • Oversee Groomers and Bathers to ensure quality, efficiency, and protocol adherence
  • Partner with BOH Leads on service flow, capacity planning, and performance expectations
  • Partner with BOH lead to address productivity issues, timing concerns, and service inconsistencies
  • Enforce safety, sanitation, and handling standards across both locations
  • Monitor incidents and partner with BOH Leads on audits, retraining, and prevention
  • Follow and enforce Bowie Barker incident and safety protocols, including proper documentation, communication, escalation, and corrective action when incidents occur
  • Step in to support BOH operations during peak periods or call-outs when needed, including bathing, drying, or basic services to restore workflow when necessary
  • Train ASMs to provide similar operational support
  • Ensure all hands-on work follows Bowie Barker safety and service standards
  • Maintain front-of-house presence during peak business hours
  • Serve as a point of escalation for client concerns and resolutions
  • Support membership education, conversion, and retention
  • Ensure front desk teams consistently deliver Bowie Barker’s service standards
  • Review KPI performance provided by the Regional Operations Manager
  • Own execution against performance targets across both locations
  • Translate KPI results into action plans with ASMs and BOH Leads
