About The Position

St. Andrew's Parks and Playground, is searching for an Assistant Recreation Coordinator. The ideal teammate is passionate about empowering others and is excited to be part of a team that has enriched lives through parks, recreation, and wellness for over 75 years! This is a great position for fun-loving individuals whose passion includes caring for and developing the minds and skills of children 5 - 14 years of age. Also a great way to gain experience for Early Education or PRT (Parks, Recreation and Tourism) college majors while making money! Are you looking to gain more experience and diversity in your recreation or youth sports background? This position will give you just that! You will gain experience assisting with summer camps, after school programs, special events and a variety of other recreation and athletic programming. We're looking for a motivated, flexible, and team oriented individual to join our recreation department team. This is a flexible position (with full State of South Carolina benefits) that will work between 32-40 hours per week with a varied schedule including evenings and weekends.
