The Champaign County Public Defender's Office is seeking an experienced criminal defense attorney to fill one full-time position as an assistant public defender in our felony division effective January 1, 2025. Job responsibilities include meeting with clients, conducting plea negotiations and jury trials, and assisting with arraignment court and detention hearings.
