Assistant Public Defender- Part Time
About The Position
Westmoreland County Public Defender's Office is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Public Defender. Responsibilities are same as for full-time position with representation of indigent clients in criminal, juvenile, state parole board and mental health commitment proceedings. Part-time attorneys receive county benefit package and vacation. Salary is pro-rated from full time and may be adjusted based upon prior experience as a Pennsylvania public defender, district attorney, or Westmoreland County conflicts counsel.
