About The Position

S&S Property Management Company is looking for an experienced, energetic, and hands-on Assistant Property Manager to join our team and support The Crossing at Henderson Mill in Atlanta, GA. If you can work with little or no supervision and are interested in an environment that offers new opportunities and experiences every day, read on. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in multi-family property management. The Assistant Property Manager is a trusted member of the team who assists the Property Manager in effectively managing the apartment community. You must have strong leasing and management skills that enhance the community experience, including strong collections, time management and follow-up skills. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, able to consistently sell and close with residents who have diverse needs, and will have the initiative and skills to follow up on activity and coordinate with management. Industry experience and certifications are preferred. You must be able to: Enter and retrieve data in multi-family property related software Use Microsoft Office Work a flexible schedule when necessary Show units, property and common areas to prospects Climb stairs

Responsibilities

  • The Assistant Property Manager maintains accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports of rents and deposits.
  • Must perform all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and all other laws applicable to apartment communities.
