About The Position

The company is seeking a highly motivated, goal-focused, customer-oriented team member for the role of Assistant Property Manager. As an Assistant Property Manager, the individual will be crucial in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the organization. The role involves preparing for opening, conducting property walk-throughs, assisting customers with storage solutions, handling rental agreements, processing payments, addressing customer concerns, performing regular property inspections for maintenance and security, and engaging in virtual meetings, collaborative projects, and training. The day ends with closing procedures and securing the property, with a work/life balance that includes working five days a week (no Sundays) and being off by 6 pm.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Experience in sales.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily property operations independently.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers, including answering inquiries, assisting with storage needs, and processing rental agreements.
  • Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and manage delinquent accounts, including collection efforts.
  • Conduct cash drawer audits and execute bank deposits according to company policies.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance, focusing on safety and maximizing units available for rent.
  • Prepare the property for opening, ensuring cleanliness, operational readiness, correct cash drawer count, and conducting a property walk-through.
  • Perform regular inspections of the property, checking maintenance needs and ensuring safety and security measures are in place.
  • Engage in virtual meetings, collaborative projects, and continued training.
  • Execute closing procedures and ensure the property is secure.
