About The Position

Liberty Apartments is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Property Manager in the daily operations of the apartment community, ensuring a smooth and efficient property management experience. You will be responsible for assisting with resident relations, leasing, maintenance coordination, and administrative tasks, all while maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in property management, leasing, or customer service is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to handle resident inquiries, concerns, and conflicts professionally and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with basic property management functions, including leasing, maintenance, and rent collection.
  • Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal housing laws and regulations is preferred.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with property management software (such as Yardi, AppFolio, or similar) is a plus.
