The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for maintaining communities to a market-ready standard and ensuring a high level of service. This role involves building and motivating high-performing teams to maximize property performance. The Assistant Property Manager assists the Property Manager with overall operations, including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. They are also responsible for providing superior customer service to residents and prospects, completing lease/renewal paperwork, tracking advertising and client traffic, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The role includes maintaining effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching, managing resident files, resolving conflicts, and overseeing community budget and finances.
