About The Position

The Assistant Property Manager at Martina Apartments plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of property management, ensuring a safe and positive living environment for residents. This full-time position involves a variety of administrative functions, including assisting the property manager with the lease-up of new tenants, recertification of current tenants, and overseeing maintenance and building operations. The Assistant Property Manager will also handle accounts payables, accept rent, and participate actively as a member of the management team. Close coordination with the CCS Program Director is essential to ensure effective program delivery and tenant interactions. The role requires a collaborative approach to support residents, particularly those facing challenges related to housing stability, and to foster a community atmosphere through various activities and resources. In addition to administrative duties, the Assistant Property Manager is responsible for tenant support, which includes identifying residents who may need assistance, facilitating community events, and maintaining regular office hours. The position also involves managing resident relations with tact and diplomacy, responding promptly to complaints and concerns, and enforcing community rules consistently. Administrative responsibilities include showing units, assisting with the application process, maintaining an organized filing system, and ensuring timely completion of service requests and community repairs. The Assistant Property Manager must also conduct regular property inspections to maintain a welcoming environment for current and prospective residents.
