Requirements

  • Experience in affordable housing property management is desired
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations or special events after normal business hours or on weekends

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the stable operation of the development
  • Complete all assigned duties in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain a well-kept appearance for the development
  • Ensure the safety and security of the development and residents at all times
  • Identify and report all problems or potential problems involving the development or its residents to the Supervisor in a timely manner
  • Facilitate open communication between all individuals involved in the operational aspects of the development
  • Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times, especially when interacting with residents, asset management, vendors, and community members
  • Ensure compliance by residents with the terms and conditions of the Residential Lease and the Resident Rules and Guidelines in a firm, consistent, professional, and non-discriminatory manner
  • Be attentive to the concerns, complaints, and/or suggestions of residents and respond to those in a prompt, fair, competent, and professional manner
  • Ensure compliance with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures established for the development
  • Record all purchase orders and invoicing in BMI accounting software
