The Assistant Property Manager at Edward Sisco Village is responsible for supporting the Property Manager in achieving maximum occupancy and collections at the property. This role involves collaborating with site staff to ensure compliance with financial and administrative procedures, as well as stepping in as the acting manager in the absence of the Property Manager. The position emphasizes customer service and community engagement within a senior living environment.

  • Assist and support the Property Manager in achieving maximum occupancy and collections.
  • Communicate and collaborate with site staff to ensure compliance with financial and administrative procedures.
  • Act as the person in charge when the Property Manager is not present.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, communities, and associated agencies.
  • Coordinate leasing activities, including interviewing prospective residents and assessing their needs.
  • Manage the collections, depositing, and posting of all rent and late fees/charges.
  • Conduct marketing outreach to generate leads and convert them into rentals.
  • Prepare and execute lease renewals and manage resident transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all resident transactions and certifications.
  • Report maintenance or property needs to the Property Manager.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of related experience in property management or a similar role.
  • Experience with affordable housing programs including LIHTC & HUD preferred.
  • COS and/or CPO Certification preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Yardi.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
  • Multilingual skills preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Basic math proficiency.
