As an Assistant Project Manager at VCI Construction, you will support the division Project Manager and collaborate closely with supervisors and field employees. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and effective problem-solving capabilities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and is detail-oriented, ensuring quality assurance in reporting and project management.

  • Report production, status of jobs, and billing information.
  • Assist in construction work face planning.
  • Perform quality assurance audits on reporting.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Complete deliverables independently on a daily basis.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office programs to manage data and support contractual reporting requirements.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening.
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with State, Highway Department & Municipal requirements for telecommunications construction permitting processes.
  • Working knowledge of traffic control permitting requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Adobe Professional.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Construction experience preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of As Builts.
