The position involves project management and support for a team that includes both internal departments and external operating partners. The role requires reviewing Test-fit drawings, developing quantity takeoff cost estimates, and creating milestone schedules for pre-lease negotiations. It is essential to track and document project milestones and completion dates, gather project requirements, and ensure the completion of necessary feasibility studies and designs. The individual will create and issue RFPs, communicate with external vendors and contractors for timely bid pricing, and utilize the company's project management platform (Kahua) to document and process budget and contractual data. Regular communication with the Accounting department is necessary to expedite tenant billings and vendor payments, and all project documentation must be complete and properly filed. The role also includes coordinating project closeout with all required certificates, inspections, and documents, as well as assisting in the preparation and completion of the project closeout punch list.

  • Ensure all project documentation is complete, current, and filed appropriately.
  • Coordinate project closeout with required certificates, inspections, and documents.
  • Assist with the preparation and completion of the project closeout punch list.
  • Perform routine site visits to document existing conditions for accurate cost estimates.
  • Attend construction meetings and follow up on tasks to ensure milestones are met.
  • Provide timely and accurate project documentation and reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience supporting interior construction projects as an Owner's representative or with a reputable general contractor.
  • Government and/or DOD construction experience preferred.
  • PC proficiency including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn company-specific software.
  • Experience or exposure to Kahua Project Management platform preferred.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera or other Project Planning/Scheduling software.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize concurrent assignments.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Project Management Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of sustainable development and construction preferred.
  • Knowledge of current trends including LEED preferred.
