As Assistant Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality multi-family, industrial, or commercial construction projects, while building skills to eventually lead projects as Project Manager. Through the entire project lifecycle, you’ll learn industry best practices for ensuring safety, timeliness, and adherence to budgets and quality standards.   • Preconstruction Assist with and learn to review proposals, bid analysis, constructability reviews, and preliminary project schedules.
  • Project Controls Assist with analyzing and managing owner contracts, ensuring compliance with claim provisions. Prepare purchase orders, subcontracts, and risk mitigation plans during buyout phases. Administer project control documents to ensure consistency and accuracy. Assist with subcontractor and owner changes.
  • Schedule Management Develop or assist with the preparation of project schedules and updates.
  • Quality Management Advocate for project excellence by assisting with the implementation of quality standards. Rectify items identified in monthly consultant inspection reports.
  • Safety Champion a culture of safety by enforcing the company’s Safety Program and ensuring site-specific safety plans are completed. Conduct job site safety audits and recommend corrective actions at weekly coordination meetings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction management
  • Knowledge of project controls and construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Ability to use or learn construction management software (CMiC, Bluebeam, Salus, PlanGrid, MS Project, Primavera P6)
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
  • Full-time, in-person role split between the local office and assigned jobsite.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. required.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with clients, design consultants, and trade partners
