About The Position

We’re seeking an Assistant Project Manager who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to support project success while building the skills needed for long-term growth in project management. As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting projects from start to finish while learning the systems, processes, and financial drivers behind successful operations. This role is based in Leesburg, VA.

Requirements

  • Experience in construction, electrical, or project coordination environments preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfort working with budgets, numbers, and basic financial tracking
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and grow
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP or project management software experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with day-to-day coordination and project tracking
  • Assist with job costing, documentation, and post-project reviews
  • Help track labor, materials, and subcontractor costs to support budget accuracy
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure schedules, scope, and expectations are aligned
  • Prepare and assist with reporting, including metrics and Work-In-Progress (WIP) updates
  • Maintain organized project files, contracts, and documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and communication
