About The Position

Job Description Summary: Assist in the management of multiple projects while providing advice to the Project Manager. Help coordinate projects, schedules, and track the progress of projects and report their results. Salary Range: $75,000 -125,000

Requirements

  • Ability to multitask and maintain effectiveness with multiple priorities
  • Professional demeanor; remain calm and emotionally controlled under pressure
  • Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required
  • Excellent communication, accounting and organizational skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and Timberline
  • A basic to good understanding of construction means and methods
  • Basic understanding/proficiency with spreadsheets, Email and other software used in the construction industry.
  • Completed OSHA ET&D Training
  • Field visits to the job site
  • At least one of the following: Degree in Engineering/Construction Management Construction Management with 1-2 years of experience with a commercial and/or Industrial general contractor; 2+ years of directly related experience with no degree

Responsibilities

  • Help oversee a construction project from start to finish
  • Manage day-to-day project activities including the POD and time sheets
  • Assist in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed
  • Work with project manager to ensure understanding of all project activities, schedules and deliverables
  • Help to manage client responsibilities and expectations
  • Work with management to develop the objectives/goals of each member and assign individual responsibilities
  • Ensure that construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule
  • Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis
  • Effective time management and logical decision-making ability
