The Assistant Project Manager works within the Project Management Team which is responsible for planning and overseeing the project, to ensure a timely and cost-effective outcome. This includes budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the project. Ensure the project is constructed in a safe, ethical manner and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. The Project Management Team can vary greatly depending on the size and complexity of the projects, which in turn will affect the number of responsibilities the Assistant Project Manager will be involved in. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Construction or Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years prior relevant heavy civil infrastructure construction experience with a self-perform general contractor.
  • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
