Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in assistant project management roles within the civil and commercial construction industry.
• RFI Handling: Demonstrated experience in managing RFIs and coordinating responses effectively.
• Organization: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software and tools, such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Project Support: Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of civil and commercial construction projects, from inception to completion.
• RFI Management: Take the lead in managing RFIs, including tracking, coordinating responses, and ensuring timely resolution.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Schedule Management: Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and identifying potential delays.
• Budget Oversight: Help monitor project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality inspections and ensure that work meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
