The Assistant Project Manager for Electrical Products at Siemens is responsible for supporting the execution of high complexity, large-scale projects within critical hyperscale datacenter programs. This role involves interfacing with both internal and external customers, ensuring efficient project progression, and maintaining accountability for project results. The position emphasizes a strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills, while also requiring resourcefulness and critical thinking to address complex project challenges.

  • Assists Project Managers on high complexity, large-scale projects.
  • Accountable for commercial, technical, engineering, and scheduling aspects of electrical distribution equipment projects.
  • Review quality documents and submit to project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries with site personnel, including general contractors and electrical contractors.
  • Ensure efficient progression of orders from PO Submittal through on-site commissioning.
  • Resolve post-shipment issues through prioritization and communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with the entire order value chain to deliver exceptional customer experience.
  • Submit all required project documentation according to timelines and specifications.
  • Develop change order proposals as part of managing the overall project.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve complex technical design issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction, Building Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in project management or project administration in the construction or electrical industry.
  • Experience with electrical products and their applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and PDF editing tools.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • BS in engineering or business degree.
  • Experience working with the construction market.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills related to electrical products.
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing critical company and customer files.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented problem solver.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
