About The Position

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven management insight to maximize employee productivity and performance
  • Knowledge of unit costs to analyze cost of work and projections
  • Extensive construction knowledge of methods for site work, utilities, and concrete work
  • Understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards
  • Knowledge of union agreements
  • Ability to effectively run meetings

Responsibilities

  • Anticipate and manage cost exposures
  • Manage general conditions and work as a team to achieve budget goals
  • Support all activities on the site as a teammate of the superintendent
  • Manage and approve project purchases
  • Close out projects swiftly and to customer satisfaction
  • Implement corporate and project-specific safety programs
  • Motivate and develop responses from subcontractors as a business partner
  • Familiarize with BOND procedures and mentor subordinates
  • Perform annual evaluations and follow up on recommendations for employees
  • Maximize employee productivity and performance
  • Analyze cost of work, change orders, and cost projections
  • Author a project master plan detailing all activities impacting project progress
  • Understand business needs and requirements of each subcontractor
  • Understand the owner's contract
  • Run effective meetings

Benefits

  • Base salary between $120k - $140k
