The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support project managers on various projects and may independently manage smaller, less complex projects. This role involves acting as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring project goals are met within time and budget constraints. The APM will handle document control, manage databases, and coordinate project activities and communications.

  • Assist project managers on a variety of projects of varying complexity.
  • Manage smaller and less complex projects independently.
  • Act as a coordinator and project liaison to clients, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain document control and manage databases.
  • Coordinate and track project activities and communications.
  • Assist with the development of RFP packages and bid selection processes.
  • Manage Contractors' submittals and requests for information.
  • Verify Contractor compliance with quality, safety, and environmental programs.
  • Execute contracts including change order management and approval of invoices.
  • Assist with project controls efforts including cost reporting and scheduling.
  • Develop internal and external reports including project budgeting and status reports.
  • Participate in project risk reviews and consult with the Legal Department as required.
  • Close out contract and project documentation.
  • Adhere to safety programs and manage the Safety & Health performance of project team members.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited program.
  • 5 years of applicable experience in project management or related fields.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding work environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-discipline project team environment.
  • Experience with Primavera Contract Manager or similar change management software.
  • Competitive salary range of $135K - $171K per year.
  • Full-time employment with opportunities for overtime.
