A Day in the Life of: As a member of our team, you will report to the Project Manager of Janitorial & Custodial Services. This individual will serve as the assistant and in absence of the primary responsible party for day-to-day operations of janitorial services on this contract. Requirements

High School Diploma; college degree preferred
Computer literate and ability to learn new skills based on latest technology
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Valid driver's license
Ability to develop, analyze and implement budget
Strong working knowledge of janitorial methods and procedures
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to persuade and motivate others and invoke a positive work atmosphere

Responsibilities

Assists in, developing, creating, and implementing work schedules to provide timely completion of assigned tasks with high quality and standard cost
Assists in overall supervision and training of work force to ensure compliance with proper methods and standards
Responsible for all aspects of custodial equipment and supplies to include requisitions, inventory, and assigning
Ensure policies, procedures, standards, supplies, etc. assigned are maintained
Provide necessary training to staff to include safety drills, SDS, contact information, etc.
Participates in, conducts, and documents related trainings and safety drills
Consults with the Project Manager of any foreseen problems or trends
Report findings, issues, or needs directly to the Project Manager and Director of Custodial Services
Reviews all staff performance promptly when due and communicates with Project Manager
