About The Position
Ceco Concrete Construction LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with a focus on estimating to join our team in San Antonio, Houston, or Dallas, TX. As one of the nation's largest concrete subcontractors, Ceco has over 100 years of experience in the commercial construction market. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of project estimates, schedules, and bid proposals for a variety of concrete structures, ranging from small to large and complex in nature. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for preparing detailed take-offs and estimates, coordinating with sub-trades and suppliers, and reviewing project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work. This position requires a strong understanding of construction cost estimating software and the ability to analyze historical data to ensure accuracy in the bidding process. In this role, you will attend pre-bid meetings to clarify project requirements and assist in maximizing profitability while maintaining a focus on safety and quality. You will monitor cash flow, project margins, and labor planning to prepare competitive bids. Additionally, you will perform special projects and complete other duties as assigned to support the field organization.
