Your impact We're seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team. Someone who can use their vast experience in the industry and apply it to today's challenges. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be directly assisting project managers in preparing RFPs, reviewing the scope of the project and contract values, reviewing pay applications/invoices and providing direct project oversight to all contracted project teams. Your skills in managing the site work, documentation and project controls will guide you towards the best outcome for the client and Jacobs. There will also be great opportunities to take on your own direct projects to build your skills towards becoming a project manager. By building a strong working relationship with the client, you will achieve great success here at Jacobs! Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture
  • 3+ years of related construction project engineering or management experience with construction building projects
  • Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems/components and technology, team building, and client relationship building.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and team members
  • Must be willing to commute daily to client site in Aurora, CO

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in design and construction management of K12 or Higher Ed projects.
  • Experience with managing controls, construction schedules and field services during construction projects.
  • Proficient in use of Bluebeam, MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Assisting project managers in preparing RFPs
