About The Position

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history required.
• 1-3 years of road construction or commercial construction experience required.
• Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals required.
• Team-oriented, articulate, flexible, and highly productive.
• Strong self-motivation and follow-through in a complex business environment.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Experience with construction software is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Viewpoint Construction Software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pre-job planning to understand project requirements.
• Assist in filling out prequalification forms.
• Help prepare bidding documents with the Construction Administrative Specialist (CAS).
• Check the credit status of potential project owners or general contractors with the Project Manager (PM) and Credit Manager.
• Assist job foremen and PMs in quantifying, verifying, and reporting progress quantities in the ERP system.
• Aid PMs in monthly Percentage of Completion (POC) calculations by updating progress and verifying quantities.
• Manage change orders and maintain records at the request of PMs.
