SBI Consultants is currently looking for a Assistant Project & Cost Manager (A P&CM) to join our team. Planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated process(es) or a project to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally and reporting to the Project Manager or supervisor of their findings. This Technical Solutions role integral to the project success. As SBI project team member, Assistant P&CM provides technical expert advice to the client (eg. estimating, scheduling etc.) Responsibilities and tasks may vary depending on a project size and stage; Cost Manager/APM may be assigned full responsibility for a process or project technical solution(s) that may require prioritizing work and coordinating tasks among other team members. The Assistant P&CM should be knowledgeable and able to speak intelligently within the various disciplines and act as the primary technical point of contact for the client. This role represents a strategic blend of technical estimating skills and project management responsibilities, ideal for professionals seeking to develop both skill sets simultaneously, with the goal of advancing to Cost Manager or Project Manager roles. The objective is to deepen and sharpen technical expertise; stay on top of the industry developments and incorporate new knowledge into Technical Solutions. With management support, develop delegation, interpersonal skills and judgement as preparatory grounds for advancing into Senior Estimator or Project Manager role and accept full responsibility for project technical support.
