The Assistant Program Supervisor-Utilities is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of gas, water, and wastewater systems. This role involves planning, scheduling, and ensuring the quality of special projects and daily operations, while also participating in field operations and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

  • Plans, organizes, schedules, and coordinates activities related to gas, water, and wastewater systems.
  • Reviews plans for improvements and maintenance requests, providing technical support and assistance.
  • Coordinates, plans, and manages utility division maintenance tasks and activities.
  • Works collaboratively with other managers and supervisors to troubleshoot utility problems.
  • Oversees maintenance management documentation on equipment and reference manuals.
  • Meets regularly with staff to review work in progress and prioritize tasks.
  • Evaluates and analyzes functions and processes to identify issues and recommend improvements.
  • Interprets applicable rules and regulations to provide leadership and guidance.
  • Manages field staff through delegation and supervision to ensure service levels are met.
  • Coordinates and manages special and recurring projects, monitoring work and evaluating performance.

  • 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong writing skills in English.

  • Experience with record keeping and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with occupational and environmental safety practices.
  • Full-time position with a salary range of $55,994.12 - $79,830.92 per year.
