About The Position

Assistant Program Manager of IDD Group/Community Homes: Join our team of professionals! We are an extremely service-oriented and client-focused organization supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Greater Prince William area. We are seeking a bright, dependable hard-working, compassionate Assistant Program Manager for one of our group homes.$21.70/hour full-time, Sunday-Thursday 6a-2p, 40 hours/week. Program located in Manassas, 20112. Under the supervision of the Program Manager the ASSISTANT PROGRAM MANAGER supports individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting to foster his/her independence, provides a clean, attractive home environment, and helps with various administration and management responsibilities that promotes a life like ours. The position involves supervision of staff and direct interventions with individuals and case management. Applicants for Assistant Program Manager must have a minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Requirements

  • Ability to pass and maintain required trainings such as CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration (MAT), Medicaid Waiver, Human Rights, OSHA and Van Training
  • Criminal and Child Protective Services Background investigations conducted for all employees; must meet state of Virginia employment eligibility requirements
  • Written, communication and computer skills
  • valid Virginia Driver/s license
  • a licensed U.S. driver with a minimum if THREEE (3) years driving experience in the United States
  • Driving record must meet agency’s vehicle insurance carrier requirements during the past three years of continuous driving experience
  • the ability to attend and pass onsite training classes within the first 30 days of hire
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED
  • one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
