The Assistant Program Director (APD) plays a crucial role in the management and operation of mental health programs at Community Services Group (CSG). Reporting directly to the Program Director, the APD is responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards while overseeing the performance of program employees. This position is integral to the Adult Mental Health Services Enhanced Personal Care Homes (EPCH) and requires a commitment to fostering a supportive and effective environment for both staff and clients. In this role, the APD will monitor program compliance, supervise and train employees, and assist in the recruitment and hiring processes. The APD will also develop educational materials and provide technical assistance to staff, ensuring that individual program plans and activities are effectively implemented. Financial oversight is another key responsibility, as the APD will review financial documentation and conduct audits of funds. Additionally, the APD will lead interdisciplinary team meetings and manage daily operations, including incident management. The APD is expected to fulfill the duties of the Program Director in their absence and will assist in developing data collection methods to monitor program activities. A commitment to trauma-informed care principles and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion is essential in this role. The APD will also be required to provide coverage in emergency situations, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to the needs of the program.
