About The Position

As an APC in our Randolph, MA adult group home location, you will be at the heart of our mission, providing essential support to individuals ages 22 years old and up with Autism and developmental disabilities in a shared living setting to help them achieve their goals and dreams. With compassion, creativity, and a commitment to personalized care, you will engage in activities that promote skill-building and enhance overall quality of life.

Requirements

  • At least 18 months experience working in the field/with people with Autism.
  • A valid and current U.S. driver's license with a minimum of 1 year of licensed driving experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and understanding toward individuals from all walks of life.
  • Dependable, compassionate, and patient.
  • Flexibility to adapt to diverse needs, preferences, and communication styles.
  • Ability to adapt seamlessly to changing environments and unexpected situations.

Responsibilities

  • Extend a helping hand to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting with personal hygiene, meal prep, medication, and transportation.
  • Cultivate a warm, safe space where independence, dignity, and respect thrive, empowering every individual.
  • Harness the power of positive behavior and support methods to tackle challenges and foster skill growth.
  • Join forces with a diverse team of therapists, caregivers, and healthcare pros, crafting collaborative solutions for holistic care.
