The Assistant Professor will provide subspecialized expertise for a wide breadth of neuropathology with studies provided by the varied subspecialists in neurosurgery, neurology, otolaryngology, and neuroopthalmology. This position is a Designated Research Position and is regulated by the Arkansas Research Education Protection Act of 2025 . Prior to issuance of an offer of employment, the University is required to request and obtain additional information about an applicant’s background and, if required, conduct an additional review of that background information.

Requirements

  • M.D. or equivalent degree required.
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the Arkansas Board of Radiology (ABR).
  • Must have an Arkansas medical license or be eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced neuroimaging for the comprehensive evaluation of brain tumors (MR perfusion/tractography and fMRI).
  • Provide a comprehensive total body evaluation of myeloma patients with CT, MRI, total body PET, and total body DWIBS.
