About The Position

(Troy, NY) As an Assistant Professor in the Lally School of Management, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for preparing and teaching courses. Specifically, the Assistant Professor will perform the following duties: Developing and testing novel financial models using quantitative and qualitative methodologies; Applying data-driven decision-making techniques to enhance financial performance and financial decision-making efficiencies; Investigating the role of emerging techniques in shaping the field of marketing analytics; Publishing findings in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and presenting at leading conferences in the field; and Collaborating with industry partners and academic peers to advance research in quantitative marketing analytics. The Assistant Professor will also teach the following courses, among other courses: MGMT 2430 - Marketing Principles: This core undergraduate course provides students with an understanding of marketing principles and the role of the marketing discipline and is intended to help students learn the concepts and practices of marketing to familiarize them with the terminology and techniques for properly framing and analyzing marketing problems. MGMT 6580 - Marketing High Tech Products: This course is designed to help students develop an understanding of the strategies and practices involved in marketing technologically oriented products and services.

  • Ph.D. in Business Administration (Concentration: Marketing) or a related field.
