About The Position

The incumbent’s role will be as a primary care physician in the Family Medical Center at the Northeast Regional Campus in Jonesboro, Arkansas. In support of UAMS’s clinical and educational mission areas, the faculty member will spend their time providing precepting for resident education. The focus of the Family Medicine team in Jonesboro is to provide efficient, effective, and high-quality outpatient primary care for all patients and a positive, meaningful academic environment for learners in the Family Medicine residency program. It is expected that the person occupying this position will maintain a collegial, professional relationship with other faculty, learners, and staff in the Jonesboro clinic. Since this is a physician hourly position, the incumbent will be compensated for actual time worked and paid at the rate established in the signed offer letter.
