The School of Information Systems & Technology at San José State University is pleased to announce a search for an Assistant Professor of Information Systems. Teaching topics may include traditional Information Systems (IS) courses for the MIS program such as Systems Analysis & Design, Introduction to MIS, and programming, as well as data analytics and visualization and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Faculty are also expected to engage actively in research on IS-related topics, publishing in peer reviewed journals and presenting at conferences, and to support the school, college, and university’s mission through service activities. SISTech resides in the Lucas College and Graduate School of Business at SJSU. We prepare students to excel professionally and contribute to society through the undergraduate MIS concentration within the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major. Our program reflects IS best practices and provides students with the skills and hands-on experience they will need to succeed today and tomorrow.
