About The Position

This is a 12-month, full-time Assistant Professor position. The candidate will assume teaching responsibilities within the DNP CRNA program while also engaging in the scholarship and service mission of the College of Nursing.

Requirements

  • Doctorally prepared (Ph.D., DNP, DNAP, EdD) in nursing required.
  • Current certification or recertification by the NBCRNA.
  • Unencumbered RN and APRN license with eligibility for RN and APRN licensure in Arkansas.
  • Three (3) years of clinical experience as a practicing CRNA.
  • Eligibility to practice within the College’s faculty practice plan.

Nice To Haves

  • Teaching experience at the graduate level with the ability to teach in all aspects of anesthesia management, preferred
  • Demonstration of scholarship-related activities (published manuscripts, abstracts at conferences, grant funding), preferred
  • Regional & ultrasound experience, preferred
