About The Position

The Oregon Institute of Technology and Oregon Health Sciences University joint Doctor of Physical Therapy program is announcing a search for a full-time, 12-month, tenure track faculty position. This 3-year onsite program has a cap of 24 DPT students annually in a 3-year onsite curriculum. We are currently reviewing applications for our 3rd cohort which will start the program in Summer 2025. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative team player to join our team in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Responsibilities include teaching in person at the Klamath Falls campus in areas of expertise for entry-level DPT students. Candidates should be interested in or familiar with using innovative teaching and learning pedagogies, including technology, and grounded in educational theory and research. Candidates will be expected to work collaboratively to continually update and enrich the curriculum. Teaching responsibilities will be assigned based on the successful candidate’s expertise and current need in the program. As a tenure-track candidate, the successful incumbent will possess skills required for production and dissemination of original research for successful tenure track award at OIT as well as meet CAPTE scholarship requirements of an independent scholar. Candidates will be required to meet faculty service requirements which include participating in department, university, professional, and community service. Active clinical agendas are supported for candidates teaching clinical skills. Nice To Haves
