About The Position
The Department of Finance and Real Estate in the Driehaus College of Business at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Real Estate at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin in Fall of 2026. Located in the heart of Chicago's financial and business community, DePaul University's real estate program is a recognized leader in professional real estate education in the Midwest. The programs emphasize applied learning in areas such as: Real estate finance and investment Real estate development and project management Market analysis and valuation Legal and regulatory issues Multifamily housing policy and finance Structuring real estate transactions The program offers three degrees: an undergraduate degree in real estate, an MBA concentration in real estate finance and investment, and an MS degree in real estate (MSRE).
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in real estate
- Produce and publish high-quality academic research
- Engage with faculty colleagues and contribute to the department's academic environment
- Participate in university, college, and departmental service activities
- Support student recruitment, mentoring, and retention
- Contribute to the visibility and impact of the real estate program through active involvement in workshops, events, and industry engagement.
