About The Position

The Department of Management at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) seeks applicants for an Assistant Professor tenure track position in Organizational Behavior OR Human Resources. The preferred applicant will have completed their PhD in Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources Management, or a closely related field. We seek individuals who are well-equipped to contribute to our research aspirations by demonstrating their ability to publish in universally regarded "elite" journals in either organizational behavior or human resources management Also critical is a demonstrated capacity to teach organizational behavior, human resource management, or general management courses at all degree levels, and the ability to work well in a collegial, interdisciplinary department. The Department of Management is an interdisciplinary group of researchers and scholarly practitioners. We support BBA, MBA, HCAD, MSHRM, EMBA and PhD programs with classes in general management, organizational behavior, leadership, entrepreneurship, international management, human resource management and strategy. Requirements

  • A PhD in management, organizational behavior, human resource management, or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited university is required to be considered.

  • Conduct research and maintain a strong record of academic output, such as publication of peer-reviewed journal articles and presentations at national conferences.
  • Teach effectively at the graduate and undergraduate level, depending on needs and qualifications.
  • Participate as a member of the Department, College, and University through appropriate service activities.
