Requirements
- PhD in Nursing required
- Previous teaching experience at baccalaureate or higher degree level
- External and/or intramural grant activity
- A clear trajectory toward independent funding (e.g. next study and potential funding mechanism)
Responsibilities
- Establish an independent program of research aligned with the college's strategic priorities
- Develop and submit competitive grant proposals as PI or co-investigator to federal, state, or foundation funding agencies
- Publish in reputable, nationally recognized, peer-reviewed journals
- Prepare, teach and evaluate assigned courses
- Use teaching strategies appropriate to learning objectives and students' needs
- Participate in College and University committees
- Perform related duties as assigned
