About The Position
The Department of Biological Sciences at Florida Atlantic University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of Systems Biology. We seek a Systems Biologist whose work spans multiple levels of biological organization, integrating approaches that connect molecular, microbial, and/or physiological processes to population, community, or landscape dynamics. The successful candidates will develop internationally recognized and externally funded research programs that strengthen the department's expertise in local ecological systems, including the Everglades, marine, and coastal environments. Additionally, research should complement and contribute to FAU's School of Environmental, Coastal, and Ocean Sustainability (ECOS) and/or the university's long-standing tradition of studying Complex Systems.
