About The Position
The Department of Neurology at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking outstanding candidates for faculty positions in Neurology. This is an evergreen posting intended to build a pool of qualified applicants for current and future Assistant Professor opportunities across the department. Positions may involve clinical care, teaching, research, or a combination thereof, consistent with the candidate’s expertise and the mission of the department. Depending on role and track, responsibilities may include: Clinical care in general neurology and/or subspecialty practice Teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, fellows, and trainees Scholarly activity, including clinical or basic science research Participation in departmental, institutional, and professional service activities
Requirements
- MD, DO, or equivalent terminal degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Georgia
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and/or research
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Completed an accredited fellowship, as applicable
Responsibilities
- Clinical care in general neurology and/or subspecialty practice
