The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a full-time Assistant Research Professor to join the Department of Emergency Medicine. This position will serve as an investigator at the rank of Research Assistant Professor and will involve collaboration with colleagues at all levels within the organization. The successful candidate will work both independently and closely with the Principal Investigator of the C3 Network, Dr. Nee-Kofi Mould-Millman, MD PhD MSCS, as well as with other collaborators and research staff both domestically and internationally. This role requires a strong understanding of the international context of trauma care, as international travel is a requirement to effectively supervise research activities. Additionally, there will be opportunities for domestic travel to present research findings at conferences and to stakeholders. The C3 Global Trauma Network conducts innovative, collaborative, federally-funded trauma care research, primarily in high-trauma international settings. The research conducted aims to fill clinical and scientific gaps for both civilians worldwide and the U.S. military. The successful applicant will be expected to have a well-formulated career development plan that includes both short- and long-term strategies to attain expertise and reputation in a specific field. This position is not only a faculty role but also requires adherence to the typical requirements of a research faculty position, including those necessary for promotions within the CU School of Medicine.
