This is a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Physics. The appointee is expected to establish a vigorous, externally funded research program, publish in peer-reviewed journals and teach effectively across the physics curriculum. Additional responsibilities include service to the department, university, and discipline. The successful candidate will also involve students in research. Preference will be given to candidates who have postdoctoral experience and whose research expertise can be leveraged towards advanced courses on Computational Physics and Data Science.
